Last Round of Santa Barbara Pictures

Today was a great day! Uncle Trent called this morning and offered to take Ethan to the zoo. Um, of course! Thank you Uncle Trent! Ethan took a nice long nap! My parents watched Abby so I was able to run a few errands. Anyway, no new pictures so I have posted the last round of Santa Barbara pictures.

Today's Activities

Do you like my super creative title? =) Anyway, today was a good day. My mom watched Abby while I went to school with Ethan. I did some work on a bulletin board and got to spend some time with my boy in his class. My mom also made us all lunch. I think you all know that meant leftovers =) and dinner for me. I have one sweet story to share. Ethan has been taking his role of being the little man of the house seriously. Tonight while we were putting Abby to bed, Ethan said he was going to go camping with his dada another day. He looked Abby straight in the eyes and said, "I need you to take care of mama. You need to do a lot of warm fuzzies and love her. Okay Abby? Okay?" He's got a big heart like his daddy!

Park in Santa Barbara

I had the camera ready to take to Ethan's soccer class today. It's always helpful to actually take the camera into the car before you drive away. Soccer class almost didn't happen today. Right before the gym doors, he said he didn't want to go. After a couple of minutes I finally convinced him to sit with me and watch the class. He sat by me for a few minutes and as soon as the class left for their water fountain break, he was off. He came back ready for class and that huge smile was back. They played a soccer game today. Ethan was on the Tigers Lions Spiders Spiderman team. =). The ball headed my way, during the game, so I gently kicked it back into play. Ethan stopped playing, came over to shake my hand several times and say, "Thank you mama for helping us with our game." I love my boy! All that to say, no new pictures today. Here are a few more pictures from our trip last fall.

So I have to explain these first two pictures. Jack just decided to crawl on Ethan and watch the movie there. He was there for at least two minutes. Don't you feel the cousin love!

We practiced making some silly faces tonight. As you can see, they are naturals =). Abby was done after taking a few pictures, but Ethan could have gone all night. He was lovin' it.

Santa Barbara Trip

So no, we didn't just get back from our trip. In fact, it was last fall. That is the beauty of slacking on the blog posts. I have SO many pictures to choose from. =)
As many of you already know, Eric's flight has been rescheduled for Tuesday due to the ash from the volcano. So, the blogging will continue! So sit back, relax and enjoy a little 2009 with us.
