Snow Day

Right around New Years, we took a family trip to the Mt. Hood. We had a great time sledding, throwing snow and making snow angels.

A Day with the Globetrotters

I have many great memories as a kid. I had the chance to relive one today. When I was a child, my parents took me to see the Globetrotters. So for a treat, we went again today. The kids had a great time. Ethan's favorite trick was the air ball. One of the Globetrotters was shooting a free throw. Instead of the ball going towards the basket, it went all the way to the ceiling. The bucket of confetti was a big hit too. There was a lot of room around us so all the kids got a lot of dancing in too. They each have their own special moves.

Ethan: Where's the MAX? Cousins
Ethan was excited the Globetrotters had a mascot. His name is Globie.

A sweet moment

When we asked Ethan what trick he wanted the globetrotters to do, he said juggling.

Look what we got to see!

My Little Man

Ethan has been a great little helper this week. He has opened doors for me, given me tons of hugs, and even tucked me in for a nap because he wanted to. After he tucked me in and told me a story, he sweetly asked if I would tuck him in now.
Tonight the kids wanted to watch Monster's Inc. I told Ethan to go ahead and start the movie because I had to finish cleaning the kitchen. About 5 minutes later, I walked downstairs and saw they hadn't started it yet. They were just quietly talking on the couch waiting for me to start the movie. Ethan told me they waited for me because they love me. That made this mama's heart melt big time.

My Silly Girl

I got a few fun pictures of Abby last week thanks to her silly brother. He is a very good assistant. He made her smile the whole time. This was also Abby's birthday. I asked her what she wanted to wear and this is what she picked. She loves dressing up like a princess whenever she can. Here are a snapshots of her silly side.

Blazers in Training

The kids LOVE playing basketball in the garage and pretending they are Trailblazers. Eric will play intro music and introduce each of them. They come running into the garage and give us high fives. So as you can imagine, I was so excited when I saw these t-shirts at Old Navy. Plus, the Blazers are just awesome. =) Here are a few silly pictures.

Best Buds

It is so fun to watch these two.

This might be my new favorite

Showing off their goofy side. That is Abby winking. When we ask her to wink, she just covers one eye =).
