Work it Work it

Here are a few pictures of Ethan in his Christmas outfit. As you know, taking pictures of toddlers is somewhat of a challenge at times. For this little photo shoot, he just stood by the tree and smiled and posed the entire time. He knew what would make his mommy happy.

Santa's Little Helpers

Here's a fun moment caught on camera. Ethan and his Uncle Mike having too much fun on Christmas Day. Ethan can now say "Mike" perfectly. We were kind of getting used to Buck (and may encourage that sometimes still hoping it will catch on). =)

Awww! Isn't that cute. This was a long one too.
The credit for the Santa Suits goes to Uncle Eric who couldn't resist.
Jack's suit even had a beard attached. We taught Ethan to say "HO HO HO" and hold his belly.

Santa Baby

Check out this pose. Here is a picture of Ethan in his Christmas pajamas on Christmas day. There's more to post, but I'll spread them out.

Ethan holding Jack for the 1st time

This was a few weeks ago, but am finally uploading some pictures onto the computer. Ethan had to be so patient. When Jack was born, Ethan had a cold so we wanted to be careful. When the moment finally arrived, Ethan was SO EXCITED. Just look at these pictures. I have video, but unfortunately our camcorder is being repaired AGAIN. Video to follow hopefully in a few weeks. These first few shots of Ethan right when he got Jack. I love the progression of his smile.

A shot of Jack looking at the camera

Ethan giving a gentle huga sweet kiss
He also likes to point out Jack's nose, hair, mouth and eyes. This is Ethan's "Uh Oh" face. It means, "Um, the baby is crying and I have no idea what to do. Would somebody help me?"

He now talks about "the baby" all the time. This last weekend we were at my parent's house and Becky and Jack walked in the door. Instead of running towards Becky and Jack, he ran to the couch, jumped up, and said "I do it." Translation: I want to hold Jack. Please hand him over. These guys are going to have so much fun together.

I wanna be like Dada

Ethan loves his dada. That is for sure. The second he hears the garage door opening, he drops what he's doing and runs to the garage door yelling "dada." Each night after dinner, they play hide and go seek, chase each other, have races (while Ethan says, on your mark..go), pretend their tigers and tickle each other, and of course Ethan gets the airpline ride on dada's legs. It is so fun to watch the two of them and I cannot help but join in with laughter. Ethan can even tell you, with excitement, where his dada works when asked. If we go to pick him up from work for lunch or something, Ethan gets so excited. "Oh boy, Oh boy, Oh boy, can be heard from the back seat as we drive up to meet dada. Whether or not Ethan is wearing Eric's hat, shoes or watch he's dada's boy. I love my boys!!

For Christmas we got Ethan his own watch since he loved his dada's so much.

My Grandpa and Ethan

Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from our family shower (I thought it was for Becky, but surprise it was for me too). Ethan loves his great grandpa and grandma. Thank you family for a wonderful time together!!!
