Good Night Sister

For nap and night time, Ethan always asks to sing a song to Abby. This started shortly after she was born and was rocking in the swing. I thought he would get tired of doing this everyday, but he doesn't. In fact, he gets sad if he doesn't get the chance. The song he sings varies from the Jazzy ABC song he made up, which includes a woo people, to Jesus loves me. I now present you with, "Go Tell it on the Mountain" from last night. So Sweet!

Mon! Mon!

So I thought I'd try some multitasking. I'm listening to the blazer game on the radio and blogging. Today after dinner, Ethan asked if we could watch Peter Pan together. We said okay and Eric and the kids headed downstairs. I was up in the living room cleaning up a few things and I saw Abby coming back up the stairs, saying "Snuggle. Snuggle, mama." I was about to pick up a couple more toys when Abby turned and looked at me from the stairs saying, "mon! mon! (come on) snuggle, mama!" while she was motioning with her hand for me to come with her. I think you all know I left those toys there and followed my little girl. All four of us had some snuggle time on the couch. I love these little moments!

I finally got around to taking a few pictures of our little dalmations this past weekend. I gave them pumpkins to play with and offered them several treats, made crazy faces and noises in hopes of getting one good picture. I love digital cameras!

It's Preschool Time!

Can you believe it! Ethan is old enough to start preschool. How time flies! He has been very excited for this day. He even woke up earlier than usual because he was so excited. I hope this is not a trend =). This first day we got to go with Ethan to his class to help him interact and check out all the fun things to do. Tomorrow he goes by himself for an hour and next week he starts his regular week. He did so well yesterday! On the way to school he told us he was nervous and shy, but that didnt' last too long. Just check out a few pictures below. He even reached out to a few kids. There were so many fun things for him to do that the time flew by. He can't wait to go back tomorrow.

One of my very favorite things to do is watch Eric play with the kids. There is nothing like it! We can't wait to have him back so we can play some more.
