Ethan Visits the Dentist

So this was way before Christmas, but Ethan visited the dentist for the 1st time in Dec. It was more of a get to know you visit. He was a little unsure of things, but as you can see he felt pretty good sitting in Eric's lap. The dentist started out by just talking to Ethan and asking him questions. The dentist started asking him about his birthday and when it was. Ethan said, "no it's not my birthday it's Jesus's birthday. We're going to eat pupcakes (cupcakes)." Look at my little boy witnessing to the dentist. I love it!

Dr. Eubanks: You see Ethan, there are cavity bugs that live in your mouth.
(in my head I'm thinking this dentist must be crazy. Are you trying to scare my child?)

Cavity bugs?
Wow!

Checking out the light and gloves

Still unsure, sweet Eric modeled for Ethan what the dentist does. I love this picture.
Ethan still wouldn't open his mouth. As we were walking out and the dentist was saying goodbye to Ethan, guess who opened his mouth as wide as he could. What a nut! By the way this is the best dentist if anyone is looking. Oh and you may be wondering about the cavity bugs. I guess Dr. Eubanks knows what he's doing. Ethan loves to make up stories about the cavity bugs and what they are doing in his mouth, then we get them with the toothbrush.

Yes, I took pictures of my kids at Costco

Yes folks, that is the parking lot at Costco. You may be asking if my camera just happened to be in the car. Oh no. I specifically brought my camera to take a few pictures. I think they look so cute sitting next to each other in the cart and they can't go anywhere =). I'm sure a few people were looking at me as they were driving by, but I hope I brought a smile to their faces.

Ethan: Really, you wan't another picture of me kissing Abby.
Abby: Yah mama. You do realize we are in the parking lot at Costco. People are starting to stare.

Just for you mama. Now let's go get some samples.

Sledding Fun at Mt. Hood

At about 11 on Saturday, we decided to go sledding at Mt. Hood. Some might worry about kids not getting their naps, me included. We decided, however, to go for it. I don't think that surprises many of you. Our hope was that Ethan would be so worn out he would fall asleep on the way home. Guess who fell asleep on the way there? Ethan fell asleep with his little box of chicken nuggets in his hand and milk tucked under his arm. Abby didn't fall asleep, but she was quite most of the time. I was handing her things to keep her entertained and let Ethan sleep. I love that she can be entertained by one of her little shoes =). As you can see from the pictures below, it was a gorgeous day. We had a great time.

This is one of my favorites. Makes me feel blessed!

Adorable!!!

Ethan's having just a little fun =)

Christmas Part 4

We started off our Christmas morning with some Christmas music and homemade buttermilk pancakes. It was Eric's Grandpa Leo's recipe. Yum!

Nothing like lickin' the syrup off your fork

Abby enjoyed some pancakes too.

Delicious!

Abby reading her new good night animal book
Ethan had just given me some earrings that he picked out for me. He was so excited for me to open them. He also gave me a necklace which you may notice in the picture above. He may have told me about that one before I opened it =).

I love 'em!

This was Ethan's main gift. We went to Toys 'r us during the snow and happened to score an awesome deal. $13 bucks my friends. It came with over 100 pieces. With some team work, mostly Eric, we were able to put it together.

Here's my man hard at work!

Christmas Part III

Here are some more pictures and I just realized the snow pictures are out of order. Oh well.

Henry and Ethan resting on the couch and watching some Frosty. Look at all those red cheeks (after they played in the snow).
Seriously guys? =)

Who's this little bundle? Jack had no chance of being cold. Isn't he cute!

Grandpa David got to come for a few days right before Christmas. We had a lot of fun together. Here is Ethan trying out his new fingerpainting set he got from Grandpa David.

Abby got an adorable Teddy Bear.

Christmas Part II

Let me guess. You haven't been able to sleep at night because you've been wondering when I'd post part II. Well your sleepless nights are over people. Here are a few pictures of more of our Christmas. Yes, there will be a part 3 and 4.
We went down earlier in Dec. to get Oma's tree. I LOVE this picture.

Oma came up for a few days after Christmas. This is what Ethan was doing most of the time we were home. =)

What a natural.

I must say, I enjoyed watching Ethan opening gifts this year. He'd always get this huge smile on his face.

Christmas Part 1

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was a little busier with the kids running around, but so worth it! Plus, we had snow people! =) There are more pictures, but I'll spread them out a bit. The house isn't going to clean itself. I sure wish it would though. =)

I'd like to give another shout out to Aunt Becky. Look at this adorable hat that Abby is wearing!
Here is our attempt at a picture of the cousins. At least they are all looking up and sitting =).

Aw! I love Jack's foot sticking up in this picture =). Don't you just want to tickle it =)

Ethan was so excited for Christmas to finally come because he knew it was Jesus's Birthday. He was so excited to make cupcakes (Ethan calls them pupcakes) for Him and eat them too. =)

Ethan "playing" some Wii. He doesn't know his controller is not plugged in =). Look at that concentration.

Look at those beautiful girls!

That's right. Even Nina got in on the Wii fun!

Can you tell I like baby feet?! =)
