As part of our first family advent activity, we decided to decorate our tree. I built it up in Ethan's head by telling him we were going to put decorations on the tree and that it would be so much fun, etc. Eric and I had our heads turned for a second. When we turned around, we saw this.
Somehow the word "decoration" got lost in translation. He would put a block on the tree and then go run and get another one. Needless to say, he brought a huge smile to our faces. Now we can tell him years from now, that the first decoration he put on the tree was a pillow. Again, if any of you need some help decorating your tree, he works for very reasonable rates. =)
So here he is putting up his first "real" ornament. He managed to do it without any help. He takes his work very seriously.

Ha! That is too funny. I'm so glad he's getting in the spirit! :) Maybe one of our advent days needs to include getting the boys together!
Nice. Henry also put up his first ornaments. He placed about 10 gold balls on one branch. It looked awesome. :) Emphasis on "looked." Mommy might have switched some things when he wasn't looking. :)
