Usually I don't dare go into Ethan's room during his nap, but today I took the chance. Well worth it I think. I like the last one the best.

Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo

Okay so this post has nothing to do with Ethan, but had to do it anyway. It's fun to see things you had as a kid in the stores or watched as a kid on TV. A few days ago I was again trying to post a video of Ethan (I'll get it to work someday) and ran across this video. Becky and I used to sing this song all time growing up. Sunriver Trip

This past weekend we were blessed with a trip to Sunriver with our family. We won 4 nights at a cabin thanks to this picture below taken by my mom.

We were also blessed with an amazing day of skiing.

The rest of our time was filled with games (including balderdash), a lot of food, walks and movies. Thank you God for such a blessing. We are very thankful!!!

Time for Bed

I love watching Ethan and Eric spend time together. The latest game they play is wrestling. Ethan will "pick up" Eric's leg and drop it. Giggles then follow. My favorite right now though would have to be bedtime. There have been a few times these last couple of weeks where I will put Ethan in his pajamas. He then crawls over to Eric, who is sitting in the glider, and looks at him. Ethan grabs one of the books by the glider and hands it to Eric as if to say, "please read to me." How is a dad to turn that down.

A few months ago Becky told me that I should make Ethan's Birthday cake. I just smiled politely at her but inside was thinking, "yeah right." I gave in to the idea if she would assist me.
