Our little Jack was born today at 1:34 weighing 10lbs 5 oz. Precious little Becky=). He is also 20 1/2 inches long. Mom, Dad and Baby are doing well. Here is a little video from when Ethan first saw the little guy. Don't worry there will be more video and pictures to post. Until then, look at Eric's post (there's a link on my blog) for some pictures. Enjoy!!

Cookie Time
A couple months ago I was making some cookies and decided to let Ethan help me. Under very close supervision, I let him pour the dry ingredients into the bowl (knowing full well everything could go flying in a matter of seconds). These were taken in October. It amazes me how much he's grown up even since then. I will post some Christmas shots soon.

Our Bible Lovin' Boy
Here are some pictures of Ethan and his "Bibee" as he calls it. I tried to get him into his Bible by talking about Jesus and using different voices. Did any of that work? Not so much. He needed his Uncle Jim to get him going. One night Jim was over and if I remember correctly, he brought the Bible over to Jim. They read and they read and they read for about 15 minutes. Ever since then, Ethan has asked for his "Bibee" and likes it read to him. As you can see sometimes he'll sit up on the couch and read it himself.
How cute is this!

Here are a few pictures from Becky's shower about a month ago. It was so much fun.
My sweet friends! I love you!

Our little guy has rhythm
Today was one of my routine baby doctor visits. Ethan came along for the first time. He acted shy at first until he heard his little sister's heartbeat. Ethan said "whoa" and started dancing to the beat of the heartbeat. I tried my best not to shake, but it was no use. I just thought this story would make you giggle as it did Eric and I.

So Cute!
Last night we went to our church Harvest Fest. It was so fun to see our little ones run around in their cute costumes. Things were spread out better this year so there was a lot of running around room. There were lots of fun things to see including balloon animals. Each of our kids had to have a balloon dog. Did I mention free donuts, popcorn, and cider? Mmmmm. If it's free, I'm all over it =). Our boys also enjoyed at different times the balloon archway. They would hit it several times like they were playing the drums. Enough talk, here are some pictures. Enjoy!

Ethan time
What do you do when you're child wakes up from a nap, somewhat sad, and asks to go on a walk with you. Being that it was so beautiful outside we decided to take a trip to Lee's Farm. Ethan and I checked out as much as we could. There were lots of animals including a llama which was a bit frightening for Ethan. We nearly had the place to ourselves. It was great. The best part was watching Ethan have so much fun and of course taking some pictures. Here's a sample of our day.

Um mommy, don't look now but the Llama is coming this way. Let's go check out the cows.
He watched them from a distance, but was happy to show off his "moo" sounds
Don't look now, but the llama is watching us again. Let's go hide in the hay maze.

Mama, which way should I go?
I got it!
I have to climb up that to go down the slide. Whoa!
I can do it!
We did this several times and was by far the highlight for him. I guess getting a bite of his mama's apple cider donut wasn't too bad either. =)

Fall Fun
Here are some pictures from our family harvest party. This first picture is of Ethan on Friday (day before) when mommy needed something to occupy Ethan's time. I was busy making zucchini bread and potato casserole. So I decided to give him a bowl of oatmeal and a spoon knowing bathtime would follow, but it would give me the 10 minutes I needed. So first he started out eating the oatmeal with a spoon. A little messy but not bad. Then who needs a spoon when your hand works just as well. So now a little messier. I knew it was bathtime when Ethan decided to put the bowl on his head saying "hat" repeatedly as he did it. Mommy finished in the kitchen just in time. What a goof ball. =)

Rock Throwing Lessons
Eric showed off his mad skills of rock throwing when we were in Mt. Rainier. Now he is training our little guy. As you can see from the pictures he had a BLAST!
This is Ethan doing the "Rock happy dance" while Dada is watching.
